Erick Barnett

CEO / Cofounder

Erick founded Odyssey with his wife Missy in Sept. 2005, spinning off from Advance Med, LLC, bringing the Anesthesia division, employees and assets with him to Odyssey. Erick was a founder and 33% owner of Advance Med, LLC, from Sept. 2001 through Aug. 2005, which later sold to AHS Staffing, a Bel Healthcare brand. Prior to that, Erick helped start Med Travelers, a division of Staff Care, INC, focusing on temporary staffing for imaging technologists and therapists. Erick graduated from the University of Oklahoma in 1999 and is huge fan of all things OU. Erick and Missy have two wonderful daughters and three dogs. Erick enjoys spending time with friends and family, running, lifting weights, and traveling.

Missy Barnett

President / Cofounder

Missy founded Odyssey with her husband Erick in Sept. 2005. Prior to that, Missy was the Accounting Director of Advance Med, LLC for 3+ years and Senior Accountant for Staff Care, INC. for 2 years. Missy’s primary focus at Odyssey is managing the accounting department as the CFO but she also helps out with operations and lead generation. Missy attended the University of TX at Arlington concentrating on Business Finance. Missy has two awesome daughters (Blythe & Mallory), 3 spoiled dogs (Max, Mila, and Millie), and 1 cat (Fergie).

Jared Santore

V.P. of Recruiting

Jared Santore has been in the medical staffing industry since 2007, with stops prior to Odyssey, at Comp Health & Global Medical Staffing. He started at Odyssey in 2014, moving to the Director of Recruiting role in 2017. His passion and determination make him a highly valued member of the Odyssey team. He takes great pride in helping healthcare providers find the perfect fit and helping recruiters reach their company and personal goals. Jared resides in Rockwall, TX and enjoys spending time with his wife, kids, and their many rescue animals.

Donnie Villoni

Director of Recruiting

Donnie Villoni has been with Odyssey Staffing since 2018 bringing industry knowledge of multiple specialties including Hospitalist Medicine, Primary Care, NP/PA, Emergency Medicine, and Anesthesia in both Locum/Permanent placement settings. Due to Donnie’s high production, he was tasked with helping start the Radiology division at Odyssey in 2019. Donnie prides himself in his ability to create long lasting relationships with his providers and loves to share his industry knowledge and experience with others to help them succeed. Donnie lives in Denton, TX with his family and 3 dogs, loves to Crossfit daily, and enjoys spending quality time with friends and family.

Jaclyn Ward

Director of Recruiting

Jaclyn began her career in healthcare staffing in 2004 and is a proven industry professional with extensive experience. Jaclyn specializes in healthcare recruiting, contracts, account management and training and development. Prior to joining Odyssey Staffing, Jaclyn worked for 10 years as a Senior Recruiter in the Travel Nurse sub-market, where she placed hundreds of providers into temporary contracts annually, and consistently earned top recruiter honors. Jaclyn takes great pride in building relationships with her healthcare providers as well as helping to develop her team to be successful, both professionally and personally. Jaclyn resides in Frisco with her husband, four daughters and their Border Collie and loves crafting in her spare time.

Matt Tate

V.P. of Account Management

Matt Tate joined Odyssey in September 2020. He has been a leader in both Business Development and Account Management for the past 12 years. Matt has led several divisions and teams across multiple specialties for large national accounts over his 7 years in healthcare. Matt takes pride in doing everything morally and ethically right through being transparent and truthful. His fulfillment comes from seeing growth and success of his team members while ensuring accounts and the communities have the clinician coverage that is needed. Matt resides in Roanoke, TX with his Australian Shepherd (Duke). During his time off, he enjoys everything outdoors and sports related while spending time out in the country, fishing, and coaching baseball.

Megan Hankins

Director of Credentialing

Megan Hankins has been with Odyssey Staffing since 2015, and has been the Director of Credentialing since 2020. Megan specializes in assisting Anesthesiologists and CRNAs, with credentialing and re-appointment applications at healthcare facilities nationally. Megan is a powerful force in the workplace and enjoys what she does while using her positive attitude and tireless energy to encourage others to work hard and succeed. Megan is inspired daily by her husband, five children and their busy sports family lifestyle.
